Life coaching is a supportive, judgement free space designed to lead you to explore who you are and the outcomes you want to achieve. Through powerful questioning we will raise your own awareness to your values, strengths and motivation to help you close the gap between where you are vs where you want to be at a quicker pace.
NLP, or Neuro Linguistic Programming, uses exercises and techniques to understand how the language we use, our physiology and our subsconscious filters have a direct impact on our behaviour, our thoughts and our actions. Through understanding and awareness, we then have the ability and choice to change our results.
Life coaching can help you to improve your self-awareness, develop new skills, create a plan for achieving your goals, and overcome obstacles that may be holding you back to where you want to be.
Are you curious enough to understand yourself on a deeper level? Are you open minded enough to consider options and perspectives that you may not have considered before? Are you eager to learn, evolve and take steps towards where you want to be?
If yes, then coaching is definitely right for you.
Sessions are for a duration of 60 minutes. The frequency of sessions is driven by you, however, weekly or bi-weekly is recommended for best results.
In coaching it is important for us to start with the end in mind. Therefore, our first session will be very much about getting to know you; where you are currently vs where you want to be, getting clear on what you want to gain from coaching and what that end result will look like.
Each session following on from this, we will work together to identify the steps you want to take to get you to that end outcome. Each session focus may vary depending on what is important for you at the time. You bring the focus, I bring the structure.
The aim is to come out of each session, where possible, with some actions that will get you one step closer to the reality you are looking for - after all, no one got anywhere by standing still.
We want to leave you feeling uplifted, inspired and motivated with clearer clarity and understanding of where you are and how you can move forward, even with baby steps, at the end of each session.
I would always recommend booking a discovery call session prior to committing to moving forward with coaching. This is for a number of reasons;
1) It gives you the opportunity to understand exactly what coaching is
2) It gives us the chance to gauge if we are the right fit for each other - finding the right coach for you is vital!
3) It allows you a chance to decide if coaching is right for you before committing to the process
If, at the end of the call, you like what you hear then we can get our initial session booked in!
Please note that discovery calls can be done via zoom or via phone call. Please ensure you select the option that best suits you in the "Services and Fees" section.
One of the key principals of coaching is to empower you to realise your own outcomes, strengths and direction. You are the expert of your own life. I am not here to give you the answers but to help you find them instead.
All you need is a clear idea of where you want to focus your time for the session and a pen and paper to take notes.
Where possible, please try to avoid distractions or disruptions during our time, arrive promptly and find whatever way works best for you to get you in the most productive and present mindset for our time together.
The amount of sessions varies based on where you currently are with regards to your aspirations, your commitment and openness to the process, and the depth of the outcome you're looking for.
For those new to coaching, you may want to consider a couple of ad-hoc sessions before committing to a package. On average 6 sessions should get you well on your way to gaining self awareness, control and change that you're looking for.
For longer term goals or deeper routed changes, you may want to consider more.
According to the International Coaching Federation, the average time that someone will work with a coach is between 3 and 18 months. This all depends on you and what feels right for you.
We will have regular check in's throughout our time together.
If, at the end of your package sessions, you feel you would benefit from further sessions you will have the option to either select another package or select on-going ad-hoc sessions, to suit your needs.
After our final session, the option is available for a check-in session at any point in the future if you feel it would be helpful for further clarity or support. At that point, we can discuss if further on-going or package sessions will be valuable for you.
Super easy! Go to the Services and Fees tab, select the appropriate session package or ad-hoc option for you and then select the time and date available that suits your needs.
You will then receive a confirmation email with your session details. This will include details of either the face to face location or the Zoom link required for your session. Upon your initial booking, I will send you a separate email with bank details for payment information and also a copy of the coaching agreement to be read, signed and returned prior to our first session.
Please note that sessions must be paid at least 48 hours prior to the session to secure the booking. Payment plans can be arranged for package sessions, if required. Please contact me directly via email to discuss.
There is no requirement to create an account.
If you wish to create an account, you will have easy access to your session history, including visibility of your upcoming sessions.
Face to face sessions are available at a specific venue in Earley, near Reading. Details will be provided once the session has been booked.
Face to face sessions are only available at this specified location. Free parking is available at this site.
For those who might be interested in a walk and talk session, these can be arranged at Dinton Pastures Country Park in Hurst. Please note that parking fees will apply and come prepared for all weather conditions. Please contact me directly to arrange if this interests you.
I do not offer face to face sessions in your home or elsewhere.
Once you have committed to a package, this will need to be paid either in full in advance or as per an arranged payment plan, to be agreed between both parties via email in advance of booking.
At this point, no refunds will be available for your committed session package.
If, for whatever reason, you feel unable to complete the package, please contact me directly to discuss. Equally, should I feel as your coach that coaching may not be the right intervention for you at this time, I will also discuss this with you.
Should both parties decide that the sessions should either cease or be put on hold, a refund for any future sessions will be confirmed in writing and processed. Please refer to the coaching agreement for further Terms and Conditions.
Where possible, please allow a minimum of 48 hours notice should you need to cancel or reschedule a session, either via email or phone call. As the Coach, I will also ensure any need for cancellation or rescheduling on my part, will be communicated to you within at least 48 hours of our session.
Should notice be given within the 48 hour window, the full fee for that session may be required to be paid in full before another session can be arranged.

This is a safe space, for YOU. Nothing we discuss goes beyond our session and your personal information is held in accordance with GDPR regulations.
